REBOOT is an MS-DOS utility that can reboot your computer. By default REBOOT will cold boot your computer with no delay. To have REBOOT warm boot your computer, use the /W command line switch. Additionally, you can delay the reboot process up to 3600 seconds using one of the command line switch listed in the Command Syntax section below.
Usage:
This utility can be used at the command line, or in a batch file. It is not recommended to use this utility with any Windows Operating System other than Windows 3.1. When using with Windows 3.1, you must be exit from Windows, if not, data corruption could occur.
Command Syntax:
REBOOT [/W | /D:x | /?]
/W => Warm Boot
/D:X => Delay boot for X seconds. X = Number of seconds to delay. X can be a number from 1 to 3600.
/? => Help Screen
To abort a reboot, press CTRL C.
Compatibility:
REBOOT.EXE is not for use with Windows (95/98/ME/NT/2000/XP/Vista/2003 Server) operating Systems. This utility can be used with MS-DOS and Windows 3.1
