Since relocating my website in 2022, as shared in my Website Update #1, I set up a simple WordPress theme but haven’t had much time to maintain it. My energy has been devoted to meaningful community service with Toys for Tots and the Marine Corps League. The 2024 Toys for Tots campaign was my last, closing a rewarding chapter that began in May 2016. As I’ve grown older, the physical demands and scale of the campaign have become more challenging, prompting me to step back.
I remain committed to my local Marine Corps League Detachment, where I’ve served since 1986. However, I’ve decided to step away from higher-level roles, including declining a new appointments as Adjutant after over eight years in the position, Paymaster (one year, six months) and Webmaster( one year, seven months). My two-year tenure at the Marine Corps League Division level and my role as the National Toys for Tots Chair have also concluded.
Now, I’m turning my attention to my home and family, embracing a new season of life with fresh priorities.
Over the years, I’ve built a collection of scripts, programs, and custom solutions. As I work to revamp my website, I’ve noticed many of these are outdated. With my focus shifting, I’m excited to breathe new life into my file library, updating it with modern tools and resources tailored to today’s computing world. Stay tuned for what’s next!
